What if I’m a Disabled Veteran and don’t display a qualifying license plate?

As of October 1, 2025, The Toll Roads have expanded the Disabled Veteran’s Program for drivers that do not wish to display a veteran plate but qualify for the California DMV Disabled Veteran Registration Fee Exemption. Drivers that qualify for the Registration Fee Exemption will receive free tolls on The Toll Roads ONLY (State Routes 73, 133, 241 and 261) beginning the day their program enrollment is approved.
